Hey guys and girls!!
After months and months of wanting and longing I’ve finally done it… I finally got myself a laptop!
It’s really cool. A big 17″ screen, cool graphics card, Dolby Virtual Speakers, AMD Dual core processor… And much much more.
It came with Windows Vista and although I’ve heard some negatives about it, it’s quite nice to use. (Although at times can be a bit slow).
It’s great because now I can move around the house with it, connect to my computer upstairs with Remote Desktop Connection, and I can now be at Jilna’s place and not worry about doing my work because I can do it on my laptop. (This is great because I can now be with her and get my work done as well.)
I’ve found this very cool item on here as well which is “Windows Live Writer”. You can enter your login details into it and can blog straight from your desktop meaning you can create a post offline which looks like what it’s meant to when you upload it, and you can just upload it next time you are online.
There are a lot of features a click away as well. You can easily create tables, insert pictures, videos, tags, and hyperlinks. And you can access your dashboard and manage your comments.
Here is a picture of what it looks like. (A print screen taken from my computer right now.
If you can’t see the image clearly or because it is too small, then just drop me an email and I’ll be more than happy to send you across the larger image. Alternatively you can right click and do “Save As” to save it to your computer and then enlarge it manually.
If you have Windows Vista, and you’re an avid blogger, or even if you want to start blogging, I would highly recommend using this program. I’ve only been using it for a short while and I really want to study the in depth features of it so it’s a definite hit on my list.
In terms of creating a blog… More on that in the next post.
